High dependency on chemical fertilizers has also harmed soil health and the environment. To address this, a community service team from UNP held a training on producing organic liquid fertilizer (POC) tailored for various plant growth stages, such as soil enhancement, vegetative, and generative phases, as well as making organic growth regulators, fungicides, and insecticides. The training included material presentation, hands-on practice, and application in farming fields. Results showed participants’ understanding of POC production rose from 43.8% to 86.7%, and awareness of agricultural waste’s economic value also improved. Although the training effectively increased farmers' skills in independently producing POC, further strategies are needed to enhance understanding of technical materials for greater environmental and economic impact.

Keywords —Organic Liquid Fertilizer (POC), Sustainable Farming, Agricultural Waste Utilization, Chemical Fertilizer Dependency, Community Training
2025-03-06T07:06:48+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://pelitaeksakta.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/pelitaeksakta/article/view/282Modification Of High-Protein Healthy PMT (Supplementary Feeding) As An Effort To Prevent Stunting And Malnutrition In Nagari Kamang Hilia, Kamang Mudiak District, Agam2025-03-31T12:05:34+00:00Melindra wanda MuliaMelindramulia06@gmail.comElsa Yuniartielsa@yahoo.comDesy Kurniawatidesykurniawati@fmipa.unp.ac.idDella Rosalyna Stiadidella@gmail.comFauzana Gazalifauzanagazali@gmail.comFitri Yurandafitriyuranda@gmail.comRaisya Pratama Putriraisya@gmail.comNadila Safitrinadilas@gmail.com
Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by inadequate nutritional intake over a long period of time, resulting in impaired optimal physical and cognitive development. The problem of stunting and malnutrition requires coordination between various parties to overcome it. In Agam Regency, especially Nagari Kamang Hilia, the stunting rate is still relatively high, with a prevalence of 24.6%, according to the latest Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI). One of the factors influencing this is the high cost of nutritious food, which reduces the interest of mothers in serving healthy menus for the family. Therefore, education and training on nutritious food processing with alternative food sources is needed to increase public understanding. This program targets posyandu cadres and PKK mothers as the main targets, with the aim of providing knowledge about the importance of fulfilling nutrition to prevent stunting and malnutrition. The results of this activity are expected to increase awareness and interest of mothers in processing nutritious food that is attractive and liked by families, especially children.
2025-03-06T07:04:31+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://pelitaeksakta.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/pelitaeksakta/article/view/281Mapping Area of Nagari Tanjung Gadang Sijunjung Regency2025-03-31T12:05:39+00:00Yenni Kurniawatiyennikurniawati@fmipa.unp.ac.idDina Fitriadinafitria@fmipa.unp.ac.idAdmi Salmaadmisalma1@fmipa.unp.ac.id
Developing a digital village as a government point of view supports Nagari Tanjung Gadang as one of Sicantik (a village loving statistics). However, at SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek, it was discovered that several teachers have varying levels of technological proficiency, face resource constraints, and struggle to develop interactive learning materials. As a result, students often lose interest in learning. To solve this problem, a training session on using the Wordwall application, a web-based educational tool that includes interactive tools like puzzles, flashcards, and quizzes, was held. The workshop aimed to help teachers create more interactive and interesting teaching methods, as well as improve their ability to use educational technology. As a result, the training session improved the quality of teaching at SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek, making the classroom atmosphere more dynamic and interesting for students.
2025-03-07T01:02:42+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://pelitaeksakta.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/pelitaeksakta/article/view/254Development of River Ecotourism Based on Sustainable Culture in Nagari Manggopoh Agam Regency, West Sumatera2025-03-31T12:05:44+00:00Muhyiatul Fadilahmuhyifadilah@fmipa.unp.ac.idSuci Fajrinasucifajrina@fmipa.unp.ac.idDelmira Syafrinidelmirasyafrini@fis.unp.ac.idTazkiyah Yuandatzkyhyuanda@gmail.comGhina Salsabilaghinasalsabilana@gmail.com
The concept of world tourism has shifted and is moving towards an ecotourism model due to the saturation of tourists visiting artificial tourist attractions. Nagari Manggopoh, located in Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province, has an image as an area rich in ecotourism potential. This is supported by the potential of the Kalulutan River that stretches across Nagari Manggopoh. One of the very unique natural resources found in the waters of the Kalulutan River is Lubuk Larangan. However, Lubuk Larangan, which should be a protection zone for the sustainability of natural resources, has instead become a popular destination for anglers from various regions in Agam Regency. This can result in overfishing. In addition, uncontrolled tourist visits can cause a decrease in the fish population in the river because the activities carried out by these tourists can disrupt the overall aquatic ecosystem. The purpose of this community partnership program is to provide training to the Dasa Wisma Mawar 1 group in an effort to develop sustainable culture-based river ecotourism in Nagari Manggopoh, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province through a community empowerment approach (community base development). The implementation method used is Oriented-Project Planning (OPP). Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that training on river ecotourism development based on sustainable culture in Nagari Manggopoh is able to increase participants' knowledge about the concept of river ecotourism development and management based on sustainable culture.
2025-03-31T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://pelitaeksakta.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/pelitaeksakta/article/view/203Learning Science for Pre-School and Elementary School Pupils Through Mini-Science Practicum at Rumah Pintar Mingguan Kreatif Ampang, Kuranji District, Padang2025-03-31T12:05:51+00:00fatridha yansenfatridha.yansen@gmail.com
This activity aims to improve the ability and to increase the interest of children coming from low-income families at Rumah Pintar Mingguan Kreatif Ampang (RPM Ampang) to learn science through mini-science experiments. While the current average sugarcane yield in this area is 70 tons/ha, the maximum potential could reach 150 tons/ha. This research aims to enhance sugarcane productivity through the application of biochar, produced from agricultural waste including bagasse, as a soil amendment. Biochar has been shown to improve soil fertility and nitrogen use efficiency in plants. To capitalize on this potential, a comprehensive mentoring program has been implemented to enhance farmers' knowledge and skills in sugarcane cultivation and post-harvest processing techniques. Results demonstrate that biochar application can increase sugarcane biomass production by up to 23% and improve nitrogen use efficiency by up to 35%. Moreover, the socialization and training initiatives have significantly improved farmers' understanding, with average participant scores rising from 42.3 to 85.7 after program completion. The integration of biochar application and effective training not only boosts sugarcane productivity but also supports local economic development and agricultural sustainability in Nagari Talang Babungo. This program aligns with local government policies aimed at enhancing food security and agricultural productivity, thus contributing to the region's overall development strategy.

2025-03-31T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
