Pengembangan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) sebagai Alternatif Pengganti Pupuk Kimia pada Pertanian di Kenagarian Sariak Laweh

Nagari Sariak Laweh terletak di Kecamatan Akabiluru, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, Provinsi Sumatra Barat, dengan luas wilayah 21,36 km² atau 22,66% dari luas Kecamatan Akabiluru. Masyarakatnya mayoritas bergerak di sektor pertanian dan peternakan, terutama dalam budidaya tnaman sayur, kopi dan jagung. Namun, limbah dari aktivitas ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, padahal berpotensi besar sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik. Seiring meningkatnya kebutuhan pupuk dalam sektor pertanian, penggunaan pupuk kimia menjadi dominan. Meski efektif, pupuk kimia berdampak buruk bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan tanah. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan pupuk organik cair (POC) menjadi solusi ramah lingkungan yang tidak hanya mengurangi ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia, tetapi juga memanfaatkan limbah organik secara produktif.Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada petani di Nagari Sariak Laweh mengenai pengolahan limbah pertanian dan sampah organik rumah tangga menjadi POC yang murah, ramah lingkungan, dan berkualitas. Kegiatan meliputi pemaparan materi tentang dampak negatif pupuk kimia, manfaat limbah organik, teknik pembuatan POC, hingga strategi pemasaran produk. Praktik langsung pembuatan POC menjadi bagian penting dalam kegiatan ini. Petani diajarkan cara memilih bahan, proses fermentasi, serta aplikasi pupuk ke lahan pertanian. Diharapkan, produk yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan sendiri maupun dijual, sehingga meningkatkan keuntungan petani sekaligus menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan. Kegiatan ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara tim pelaksana dari Departemen Kimia dengan Pemerintahan Nagari Sariak Laweh. Tujuannya tidak hanya menghasilkan produk POC, tetapi juga memberikan edukasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Dengan adanya program ini, diharapkan Nagari Sariak Laweh dapat menjadi percontohan dalam pemanfaatan limbah organik untuk pertanian berkelanjutan. Selain memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi bagi petani, penggunaan POC juga menjadi langkah nyata dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan pertanian di wilayah tersebut..

Strengthening Cooperative Capacity Through Business Feasibility Studies as a Strategy for Sustainable Agribusiness Development

This community service aimed to strengthen the capacity of Al-Barkah Mandiri Bersama Cooperative in Nagari Palaluar, Sijunjung, through training and mentoring on business feasibility studies for goat farming. Activities included socialization, discussions, technical training, technology application, and continuous mentoring covering market, financial, management, legal, and risk aspects. Evaluation using pre- and post-tests showed an increase in participants’ understanding from 46% to 71%, with an average normalized gain of 0.63 (medium category). These results indicate that the program effectively improved members’ knowledge and skills in preparing feasibility studies and raised awareness of their importance for sustainable agribusiness. The initiative contributes to cooperative empowerment and local agribusiness development while highlighting the need for follow-up support in financial recording and technical goat farming management to achieve more professional and competitive cooperative operations.

Limbah pertanian seperti jerami padi, belum banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik oleh petani, salah satunya adalah Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) berbahan baku dari limbah jerami padi. jerami padi ini merupakan limbah pertanian terbesar di Indonesi, di sisi lain banyak terdapat lahan pertanian yang ada di Kecamatan Kamang Baru berupa sawah, komoditas yang dibudidayakan yaitu tanaman padi, dimana tanaman padi akan menghasilkan limbah berupa jerami padi. Limbah pertanian seperti jerami padi, belum banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik oleh petani. salah satu yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada mitra yaitu dengan adanya pemanfaatan sumberdaya lokal yang di daerah tersebut.dalam hal ini bahan dasar yang bisa dimanfaatkan yaitu jerami padi yang banyak terdapat di lingkungan kelompok SRIKANDI berada.jerami padi tersebut di olah untuk menjadi produk POC . Farmpro POC hadir sebagai pupuk organik sekaligus peptisida bagi tanaman, yang memiliki keunggulan dalam segi penggunaannya yang 2in1 yaitu pupuk sekaligus peptisida yang dapat mempersingkat dan mempermudah pengerjaan para petani dalam merawat tanaman dengan efektifitas dan keefisienannya. Program pembuatan POC dari jerami padi pada kelompok tani SRIKANDI bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya penggunaan pupuk organik,serta pemanfaatan bahan-bahan alami yang ada di sekitar lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan terkait pembuatan POC dari jerami padi pada kelompok tani SRIKANDI di Nagari Kunangan parik rantang kec.Kamang baru Kabupaten Sijunjung dalam menghasilkan produk ramah lingkungan yaitu metode pendekatan dalam program ini adalah dengan melakukan penyuluhan atau sosialisasi kepada mitra mengenai program yang akan dilaksanakan. Antusiasisme warga sangat tinggi mengingat kesulitan mereka dalam mendapatkan pupuk yang murah efisien dan mudah dilakukan, dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini mereka sangat terbantu dalam mendapatkan dan mengurai permasalahan yang mereka hadapi.

Training and Mentoring for Goat Milk-Based Product Innovation as an Effort to Increase Added Value for Members of the Koperasi Produsen “Al Barkah Mandiri Bersama” in Sijunjung Regency

The Al Barkah Cooperative continues to produce goat milk, but the milk's distinctive aroma, unpopular with many, remains a limiting factor, resulting in low demand. To address this, innovation in goat milk processing is needed to ensure wider consumer acceptance. To enrich the cooperative's economic value, training and mentoring in dairy product processing are needed to optimize dairy farmers' milk production, including milk crackers and ginger milk. The training included lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, covering everything from preparation to packaging. Evaluation results showed that 85% of participants felt they had gained new insights and were motivated to develop dairy products independently or in groups. Therefore, this activity has the potential to encourage business diversification, increase the added value of goat milk, and open wider market opportunities for the cooperative and the surrounding community.

An Assistance in the Use of Goat Manure Waste as Liquid Organic Fertilizer in Nagari Palaluar to Support Environmentally Friendly Agriculture

Small-scale goat farmers in Nagari Palaluar, Koto VII District, Sijunjung Regency have a dual challenge in the form of low profitability of goat farming and degradation of agricultural land due to excessive use of inorganic fertilizers and conversion of former mining land. This community service initiative aims to increase farmers' income by converting goat manure waste by processing goat manure waste into Liquid Organic Fertilizer, while supporting sustainable agricultural practices. Using a participatory rural appraisal (PRA) approach, the program combines theoretical education, LOF (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) making practice training, technical mentoring, and laboratory-based evaluation. The results showed a very significant increase in knowledge (p < 0.001) with an average gain score of 39.00 (from 48.33 to 87.33). Laboratory analysis confirmed the quality of POC with macronutrient concentrations of Nitrogen (235.5 ppm), Phosphorus (299.7 ppm), and Potassium (714.7 ppm) at Level 1 (Very High), as well as an optimal pH of 6.8. The participants managed to produce 160 liters of LOF per month, creating a new source of income through local sales while reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers. This integrated approach not only increases the income of goat farmers but also promotes a circular economy, reduces environmental impact, and contributes to SDGs 12 and 15

Empowering Productive-Age Women Groups in Nagari Batu Bulek through Marketing of Traditional Food Integrated with Online Tour Packages

The objective of this community service activity is to equip productive-age women with the necessary skills to package food, obtain PIRT (household food industry) licenses, develop product branding, and market traditional food by utilizing social media, websites, and e-commerce platforms integrated with online tour packages. This initiative indirectly contributes to improving the economic welfare of women in Batu Bulek and preserving the region’s traditional food. The skill development program for productive-age women groups in Nagari Batu Bulek in marketing traditional food integrated with online tourism packages was carried out through several stages, namely the preliminary stage, preparation, and implementation. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding with an N-gain score of 0.36, which falls into the medium category. This activity also received positive responses from the participants, as indicated by the satisfaction survey with an average score of 93.7. Through this training program, productive-age women in Nagari Batu Bulek gained knowledge and skills in food packaging and product branding.

Human Resources Training in Welcoming the Digitalization of Administration System in Batu Bulek Village, West Sumatra

Along with the advancement of the times and the demands for integrated, unified, and fast services, the Regional Government has issued a digital government management system policy at the village level. However, its management has not been optimal at the Batu Bulek Village Head's Office, North Lintau Buo District, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra. The first problem is the limited capacity of village government human resources to manage the ADM system and digital services. This community service activity aims to provide mentoring and coaching to improve the capacity of Batu Bulek Village government human resources to manage the village digital system. Mentoring and coaching are carried out by providing training to village officials, especially on the introduction and how to use the village website. The results of the community service show that the human resource capacity of village officials has increased, especially in managing the Batu Bulek village website.

This community service activity in the form of mentoring uses a method that consists of several stages. The first stage is the preparation stage, the second stage is the guided and independent activity stage, and the third stage is monitoring. This activity received a positive response from the participants, namely the teachers of MAN 2 Bukittinggi, with more than half of the participants stating that the training was interesting, beneficial, and effective.

Improving the Competence of Junior High School Teachers in Designing Instructional Material and Assessment for the Implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka

The digital technology–driven pedagogical transformation has established new standards in modern learning practices, including increased demands for flexibility, innovation, and adaptive instructional approaches. In Indonesia, the Merdeka Curriculum represents a strategic response to these developments by emphasizing differentiated instruction and the integration of digital technologies to address diverse student learning needs. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) was designed to support science teachers affiliated with the Science Subject Teachers’ Forum (MGMP IPA) of Solok City in strengthening their pedagogical and digital competencies through structured training on the development of digital learning materials and assessments grounded in differentiated instruction. The program was implemented through several stages, including preparation, delivery of conceptual content, hands-on digital product development, and evaluation of participants’ competencies. The evaluation results indicate positive outcomes, including enhanced understanding of digital learning trends (87%), improved ability to implement differentiated instruction (82%), and increased competence in developing digital learning materials and assessments (83%). These findings demonstrate that technology-based training provides a substantive contribution to reinforcing teachers’ readiness to meet the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum. The practical implication underscores the need for sustained and scalable training initiatives to further support broader educational transformation.

Abstract – Variousproblemsfaced by the livestocksector in Indonesia include low quality cattle seeds, inadequate infrastructure, and low productivity. Livestock farmingis generally carried out by rural livestock farmers, managed traditionally as a side business, with a cattle maintenance system that is herded and pennednear the farmer's house. The cattle are left to findtheirownfeed and to meet the shortage of livestockfeed, agricultural waste is provided. The capabilities of cattle farmers are relatively limited, farmers assume that cattle maintenance can bedone as a side job and do not have special technologi calca pabilities. The purpose of the collaborative Workshop with ICMI in Efforts to Increase the Human Development Index through Cattle Breeding and Raisingis to improve participants' knowledge and skills related to modern livestock technology that can increase the productivity and quality of beefcattle. In addition, this workshop alsoaims to strengthen the network and collaboration between experts, practitioners, and related parties in the beef cattle industry in the form of lecture activities on cattle farming and fattening through 16 meetings consisting of 11 courses with expert speakers. The result of this collaboration is an increase in participants' knowledge and skills regarding more effective livestock technology, in order to increase the productivity and quality of beefcattle, especially in Sijunjung Regency.

Training on the Production of Eco-Friendly Organic Detergent Based on Hibiscus tiliaceus Leaf Extract at SMAN 3 Palu

The increasing use of synthetic detergents has contributed to water pollution and environmental degradation, highlighting the need for safer and more sustainable cleaning alternatives. This community service program aimed to train students of SMAN 3 Palu in producing an eco-friendly detergent derived from Hibiscus tiliaceus (daun waru) extract while strengthening their understanding of basic chemical concepts. The activities consisted of theoretical counseling, demonstration of the production process, hands-on practice, and evaluation through a 3-point Likert scale questionnaire. The results indicate that students were able to follow each stage of the procedure, including extraction, formulation, pH testing, and foam performance evaluation. Participant responses showed a highly positive assessment, particularly regarding the clarity of material delivery, adequacy of tools and materials, and overall satisfaction with the program. The training also fostered creativity and environmental awareness by introducing natural ingredients as an alternative to synthetic detergents. In conclusion, this program effectively enhanced students’ knowledge, practical skills, and environmental consciousness and has strong potential to be developed as a continuous educational initiative within the school.

Fostering Deep Learning in Students: An AI Empowerment Program for Mathematics Teachers

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep learning offers significant opportunities for innovation in education. This program aimed to improve the understanding and skills of junior high school mathematics teachers in Padang City in utilizing AI to support creative and efficient learning. The training, held at SMP Negeri 25 Padang and attended by 55 MGMP Mathematics members, included lectures, hands-on practice using MagicSchool AI and ChatGPT, and the development of interactive learning media through Wordwall and Kahoot!. Evaluation results showed that all participants improved their understanding of AI and deep learning concepts, and more than 90% found the materials relevant and easy to apply. The training successfully fostered teachers’ motivation to adapt to AI-based learning innovations. Similar programs are recommended to continue with classroom mentoring to ensure optimal AI implementation in schools

Strengthening Data Literacy and Packaging Efficiency in Food MSMEs through Statistical Approaches in Koto Tangah District, Padang

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy, particularly in the food sector. However, many food MSMEs face challenges in managing supply risks, business data recording, and product packaging. This service program aims to strengthen data literacy, improve packaging efficiency, and assist in meeting business legalities for five food SMEs in Parupuk Tabing, Koto Tangah, Padang.
Through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, this program focuses on three main interventions: (1) data recording and stock management training, (2) introduction to vacuum packaging technology, and (3) fulfilling business legality requirements by obtaining NIB, PIRT, and halal certification.The results show significant changes, including increased business legality (all MSMEs now have NIB and PIRT), the use of vacuum packaging, and the implementation of regular recordkeeping. This program demonstrates that, in the context of MSMEs with limited data, the statistical approach begins with record-keeping habits and simple information systems as a foundation for further analysis.

Puncak Pato possesses rich natural and cultural potential, yet its tourism promotion and service quality remain limited. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen local capacity in developing promotion strategies and improving tourism services. The activities involved socialization, training, focus group discussions, and field mentoring. Post-test results showed a significant improvement, with an average of 87.5% correct responses, particularly in cultural understanding, hospitality ethics, and basic photography and videography skills (90–100%). The program also produced an output in the form of promotional videos of Nagari Batu Bulek, collaboratively created and shared on social media as digital promotion media. These achievements demonstrate the community’s enhanced digital literacy, creativity, and confidence in managing local tourism independently. Overall, the program contributed to strengthening Puncak Pato’s branding and competitiveness while promoting sustainable community-based tourism development.

Digitalization Training of Learning Tools Based on Deep Learning to Improve the Quality of Mathematics Teaching for Teachers in the MGMP of Junior High Schools in Kabupaten 50 Kota

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance the competence of mathematics teachers in designing digital learning materials based on deep learning through the Integrated Study Program and Nagari Program (PIPN). The activity involved 47 teachers from 40 junior high schools in Kabupaten 50 Kota and was carried out through workshops, independent work, group collaboration, and presentation sessions. The materials delivered included the development of digital teaching modules, interactive media using ClassPoint and Canva, digital assessments through Quizizz and Wordwall, as well as the use of Heyzine as a platform for publishing teaching materials. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ abilities, indicated by an increase in the “moderate” competence category from 29% to 68% and a decrease in the “low” category from 66% to 21%. This program proved effective in improving mathematics teachers’ digital literacy and strengthening the implementation of deep learning–based instruction in schools.

Initiating the action of wildlife conservation through local custom and regulation in Singgalang village Tanah Datar West Sumatra

There are national regulations on conservation of wildlife in Indonesia, but the implementation has not been optimum due to lack of monitoring by the government. This program was trying to initiate local participative on conservation of wildlife, specifically initiating a village constructing their own regulation or local custom for sustainable natural resources management. The program was conducted in Singgalang village Tanah Datar Regency West Sumatra, with multi local stakeholders belong to customary holders, tourism leading group, the official village staffs, women association and schools across the village were involved. The program was officially openned by vice Bupati of Tanah Datar Regency, then it was followed by seminar with Yayasan SINTAS Indonesia for biodiversity richness and the problems, and completed by PAGARI for local custom implementation. Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, yet medical treatments remain costly and often cause side effects. Herbal-based alternatives are increasingly relevant, including the use of Curcuma sumatrana (koenih rimbo), an endemic plant from West Sumatra with anticancer potential. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge of the Ikhwatunnisa Women Farmers Group on cancer prevention, early detection, and the sustainable cultivation of koenih rimbo. The activities involved three stages: socialization, health education, and training in conservation and cultivation. Results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, with understanding of cancer risk factors and early detection rising from 30% to 80%. Participants also showed enthusiasm in cultivating koenih rimbo, viewing it as a way to support family health while conserving biodiversity. This program demonstrates the importance of integrating health education and plant conservation to empower local communities, particularly women farmers, in achieving sustainable development goals.

DM Triguna High School is a private high school in Padang City. Several problems exist, including low student awareness of waste sorting and the lack of separate trash bins. The solution is to conduct education to increase awareness and action on separate waste processing. This activity aims to increase student awareness about the need for separate waste management and how to process it. Additionally, the school is equipped with separate trash bins to promote environmental awareness among students. The results obtained from this Community Service activity are data on the knowledge of community service participants before and after the training. There was an increase from an average score of 63.11 before education to 77.55 after schooling was provided. This indicates a growth of 22.87%. This data illustrates that community service activities have a positive impact on the knowledge of student participants and have an impact on partners.

Improving Early Awareness of Body Organ Health in Students of State Elementary School 01 Pasar Laban Through Interactive Device-Based Education

The health of elementary school-aged children is a crucial factor that needs attention. However, the low awareness of students, especially at SDN 01 Pasar Laban, regarding the importance of maintaining healthy body organs is a problem that needs to be addressed immediately. One of the causes is the limited interactive learning methods in schools, especially regarding body organ health. Therefore, an innovative approach is needed in health education for students, namely a learning method based on interactive teaching aids "Human Body Anatomy Model". Community service activities were carried out on August 6, 2025. Material on body organ health education was delivered using an interactive lecture method followed by game-based learning using interactive teaching aids. This activity increased students' knowledge by 11.11% regarding the introduction of the structure and function of body organs and the effects of unhealthy snack consumption behavior.

Microplastic Fighters: Building a Zero Waste Generation through Student Education and Action in Plastic Waste Management on the Bungus Teluk Kabung Coast

The Microplastic Fighters program was developed to increase elementary school students' understanding of the dangers of microplastics and waste management skills through experience-based learning methods. The activities were carried out systematically through the stages of socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. The results show an increase in the average knowledge score of students from 6.48 (pretest) to 7.84 (posttest). This increase in scores shows that the educational and interactive approach applied has proven effective in increasing student participation, creative thinking, and practical skills. Thus, this program has the potential to shape an environmentally conscious zero-waste generation and serve as an applicable educational strategy in supporting sustainable environmental conservation in coastal areas.

Effectiveness of Data Visualization Training for Junior and Senior High School Teachers to Improve Scientific Article Writing Competence

This community service program aims to enhance the scientific article writing competence of junior and senior high school teachers in Sukabumi Regency through training on data presentation and visualization using Microsoft Excel with the Data Analysis Add-Ins. The initiative was designed to address teachers’ limited statistical skills, low technological literacy, and challenges in processing and interpreting data for research activities. Conducted online in two sessions, the training included material delivery, software demonstrations, and pre- and post-training assessments. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, as evidenced by the paired t-test yielding a p-value of 0.00. Thematic analysis of open-ended responses further revealed positive perceptions regarding the training’s relevance, clarity, and usefulness in strengthening statistical understanding. Overall, the program effectively improved teachers’ competencies in data analysis and scientific writing, while participants also expressed the need for more advanced training related to educational media and professional development
